Well done to all those Bronze & Silver's out there who completed their practice expedition in the Chilterns last weekend. Hope the torrential rain on Saturday night didn't scare you off too much. There are certainly some key lessons for some people...
- Tent's shouldn't be put up inside out... they leak.
- Shower proof tents are no good in heavy rain... they leak.
- Black bin bags can be used as rain jackets
Not as many of you tried to get staff to carry your wet tents back to the drop off point as I thought - well done!
Looking forward to the assessed expedition in a few weeks, hope the practice has given you all some idea of what to expect.
